The Turbofan E27M3 is a full size 3 tray manual electric convection oven from Moffat, adding a third tray and stepping up to 4.5kW of heating power over the 2 tray E27M2. It takes 3 x 460mm x 660mm full size sheet pans or 3 x 400mm x 600mm trays with 85mm spacing, driven by a bi-directional reversing fan for an even bake. A mechanical thermostat and 60 minute timer keep operation simple.

Turbofan ovens are designed and manufactured by Moffat and backed by Moffat's Australia wide service and spare parts network. The extra element power makes the E27M3 the pick of the manual full size ovens for roasting and repeated tray loads, it recovers temperature faster when the door has been open. It is hardwired at 19.6A, so allow for an electrician at installation. Dual halogen lamps let you check the bake without opening the door. Bench mount it on the supplied stainless steel feet or pair it with the SK2731N or SK2731U stand. Three chrome plated oven racks are supplied.

Does the Turbofan E27M3 need special electrical installation?

Yes. Unlike the 2 tray E27M2, the E27M3 draws 19.6A and is hardwired with no cordset supplied, so it needs an electrician to connect it to a dedicated circuit. It still runs on standard 230-240V single phase power, no three phase required. Contact us if you are not sure what your site has.

What trays does the Turbofan E27M3 take?

It holds 3 x 460mm x 660mm full size sheet pans or 3 x 400mm x 600mm trays with 85mm spacing between shelves. Three chrome plated oven racks are supplied, and the 3 position side racks are fully removable for cleaning.

What is the difference between the E27M2 and E27M3?

Same 810mm cabinet and same trays. The E27M3 adds a third tray and steps up from 2.8kW to 4.5kW of heating power, so it recovers faster between loads. The trade off is tighter 85mm spacing and a hardwired 19.6A connection where the E27M2 plugs into a 15A outlet. If you want plug and play, get the E27M2. If you want output, get the E27M3.

Which stand suits the E27M3, the SK2731N or SK2731U?

Both fit the oven, the difference is the tray runners underneath. The SK2731U runners suit full size 460mm x 660mm sheet pans, the SK2731N runners suit 400mm x 600mm trays and GN 1/1 pans. Match the stand to whichever trays you bake on.

Does the E27M3 need to be under an exhaust hood?

No. At 4.7kW the E27M3 sits under the 8kW limit for unhooded electric appliances in Australia, so it does not require an exhaust hood. Ventilation requirements can vary by council, so check your local regulations if unsure.
