The Turbofan E22M3 is the entry point to the Turbofan range, a compact 3 tray manual electric convection oven from Moffat in just 610mm of bench width. It holds 3 half size sheet pans or 3 GN 2/3 pans, with a mechanical thermostat and 60 minute timer keeping operation simple. At 2.1kW it comes with a 10A cordset fitted and plugs straight into a standard power point, no electrician, no special circuit.

Turbofan ovens are designed and manufactured by Moffat and backed by Moffat's Australia wide service and spare parts network. The E22M3 suits cafes, small kitchens and event caterers baking in smaller batches, cookies, muffins, pies, pastries and reheating. The drop down door doubles as a handy resting shelf when loading trays. Bench mount it on the supplied stainless steel feet or pair it with the SK23 stainless steel stand. Three chrome plated oven racks are supplied.

Does the Turbofan E22M3 need special electrical installation?

No. At 2.1kW drawing just 9A, the E22M3 comes with a 10A cordset fitted and plugs straight into a standard power point, no hardwiring, no dedicated circuit and no electrician. It is the easiest oven in the Turbofan range to install and a favourite for event catering.

What trays does the Turbofan E22M3 take?

It holds 3 x 460mm x 330mm half size sheet pans or 3 x GN 2/3 pans with 70mm spacing between shelves. Three chrome plated oven racks are supplied, and the 3 position side racks are fully removable for cleaning.

Can the E22M3 sit on a bench?

Yes. It comes with anti-skid adjustable stainless steel feet for bench mounting, and at 610mm wide and 35.4kg it fits benches where bigger ovens will not. Or mount it on the SK23 stainless steel stand with castors and tray storage underneath.

Does the E22M3 need to be under an exhaust hood?

No. At 2.1kW the E22M3 sits well under the 8kW limit for unhooded electric appliances in Australia, so it does not require an exhaust hood. Ventilation requirements can vary by council, so check your local regulations if unsure.

What is the difference between the E22M3 and E30M3?

The E22M3 holds 3 half size sheet pans or GN 2/3 pans in a 610mm cabinet. The E30M3 steps up to 3 full 1/1 GN pans with 100mm spacing in an 810mm cabinet, and both plug into a standard 10A power point. If you bake in 1/1 GN pans, go the E30M3. If bench space is tight and smaller pans suit, the E22M3 saves you money and 200mm of width.
