Blue Seal Filtamax EF40 Fryer Oil Filter

The Blue Seal Filtamax EF40 is a mobile fryer oil filter, matched to our 600mm GT60 gas fryers, with a 32 litre capacity and a reversible pump for fast, safe oil changes.

Oil is drained into the filter tank through the reusable filter bag. From here the filtered oil is pumped back into the fryer, so hot oil is never handled directly, avoiding the danger of spills and burns. The pump itself uses tight metal gears rather than a standard impeller, creating suction and discharge, and reverse is there to clear it if it ever gets clogged or air locked.

The EF40 is designed to roll under the GT60 fryers, where it's stored out of the way. On heavy duty castors, it's easily moved to other fryers too. A drain adaptor and extension kit are also available, letting one EF40 service a combined 450mm and 600mm fryer run.

A carbon pad filtering upgrade kit is available if you want finer filtration than the standard reusable bag, along with spare filter bags and a flexible hose attachment. Filtamax is made by Moffat in New Zealand.

Which fryers does the EF40 work with?

The GT60, GT60E and GT60-HPO. It's sized to match these fryers' 32 litre tank capacity, and rolls in under them for storage.

Can the EF40 service more than one fryer width?

Yes. With the optional drain adaptor and extension kit, one EF40 can service a combined 450mm and 600mm fryer run, rather than needing a separate filter for each.

Does the EF40 come with a filter bag?

Yes, a reusable filter bag is included. Spare bags and a carbon pad upgrade kit are both available separately if you want finer filtration.

What power supply does the EF40 need?

240V single phase, 3.2A, with a standard 3 pin 10A plug fitted.
