Blue Seal E60 Electric Fryer 600mm

The Blue Seal E60 is a high performance 600mm single pan electric fryer.

Two 11kW flat bar stainless steel heating elements sit in the oil for 22kW of frying power and up to 40kg/hr from the 35L open pan. The elements hinge out and are counterbalanced for an easy clean, and a large cool zone keeps the oil clean and lasting longer.

Because it heats the oil directly with immersed elements, it recovers temperature fast between baskets. An element tilt switch cuts the heat when the elements are lifted, and a fail-safe over-temperature cut-out and power and heating indicator lights are built in.

Blue Seal Evolution Series is made by Moffat. The E60 runs on 415V three phase power, so an electrician makes the final connection. There is no gas, flue or conversion to deal with, which suits sites without a gas supply. The stainless steel pan carries a 10 year limited warranty.

Best for: high volume electric kitchens frying large loads that want fast recovery and an easy clean fryer.

Can I choose the baskets?

Yes. On ordering you choose either 3 standard baskets or 2 large baskets. Three standard baskets suit portioned frying of several products at once, while two large baskets suit bigger loads of a single product.

Is it gas or electric?

Electric. It has immersed stainless steel elements and runs on 415V three phase power, so there is no gas connection, flue or gas conversion. An electrician makes the final connection.

How do you clean it?

The heating elements hinge out of the pan and are counterbalanced, so they lift clear for easy cleaning of the open pan. A tilt switch cuts power to the elements when they are raised, and the pan drains through the drain valve.
