Blue Seal E57-B Electric Solid Top - Bench Model

The Blue Seal E57-B is an electric solid top built to sit on your own bench or existing stand. It runs a 10.8kW cast steel hot plate across four independent heating zones. Made in New Zealand by Moffat.

The plate is a one-piece welded 2.0mm stainless steel top over a 16mm thick 16Mo3 chrome moly steel hotplate, with four radiant elements underneath giving four separate heating zones at 2.7kW each. Each zone has its own 6 position control switch with a power indicator light, so you can run different zones at different heats at the same time, handy if you're simmering on one side and holding heat on the other.

The bench model sits on four adjustable stainless steel feet, so it sits level no matter what surface it's going on.

This model runs on 10.8kW three phase power, 400 to 415V. It needs a dedicated three phase circuit run to it before installation, talk to your electrician about what's involved before you order.

How many heating zones does the E57-B have?

Can I use pots directly on the plate?

Yes. The solid plate takes any flat bottomed pot or pan, just place it directly on the heating zone you want.
