Blue Seal E57-CB Electric Solid Top - Cabinet Base

The Blue Seal E57-CB is an electric solid top on a fully enclosed cabinet base, giving you storage underneath as well as the cooking surface up top. It runs a 10.8kW cast steel hot plate across four independent heating zones. Made in New Zealand by Moffat.

The plate is a one-piece welded 2.0mm stainless steel top over a 16mm thick 16Mo3 chrome moly steel hotplate, with four radiant elements underneath giving four separate heating zones at 2.7kW each. Each zone has its own 6 position control switch with a power indicator light, so you can run different zones at different heats at the same time, handy if you're simmering on one side and holding heat on the other.

The cabinet base is double skin 0.9mm stainless steel inside and out. An optional GN 1/1 4 position racking kit is available if you want fixed racking inside. It sits on stainless steel legs with adjustable feet at the front and rollers fitted at the rear as standard, so the whole unit can be pulled out for cleaning.

This model runs on 10.8kW three phase power, 400 to 415V. It needs a dedicated three phase circuit run to it before installation, talk to your electrician about what's involved before you order.

Does the cabinet base come with racking?

Not as standard, it's loose GN 1/1 storage out of the box. An optional 4 position racking kit is available if you'd rather have fixed racking.
