Product Overview
The Waldorf SN8100EQ is a 600mm ultrarapid quartz electric salamander. Unlike standard infra-red elements where heat must travel through a metal tube before reaching the cooking surface, the SN8100EQ uses tungsten heating elements protected by a glass ceramic plate, delivering heat almost instantly. It reaches maximum temperature in 20 seconds from cold and in 5 seconds when already in operation, making it ideal for busy service where the unit cannot be left running continuously between use. Two independent cooking zones, digital timer display and self balancing adjustable grill height. Open on three sides for easy loading. 1/1 GN pan compatible.
The SN8100EQ requires 3-phase power. If your kitchen does not have 3-phase available, contact us as we have a single phase conversion solution that allows this unit to run on a standard 20 amp single phase circuit.
