The Washtech GE is a compact, affordable commercial glasswasher built for small bars that need reliable, fast glass cleaning without the cost or complexity of a recirculating machine. Using water pressure rather than a wash pump, the GE has fewer moving parts, lower maintenance requirements and simple push button Washtech hybrid controls.
Best for: Small cafes, wine bars with low volumes that want a simple, low maintenance glasswasher at an affordable price point.
Simple to run, simple to maintain
The GE has no wash tank, no wash pump, no drain pump and simple push button controls. Water pressure does the work. End of service cleaning is minimal, there's no tank to scrub out. The internal rack slide removes easily for cleaning. Commissioning is not required out of the box.
What's in the box?
The GE comes with the glasswasher itself, a 365mm x 435mm glass rack, 2 water supply hoses and 4 x 150mm stainless steel legs, plus a user and maintenance guide, everything you need to get it running.
What rack size does the Washtech GE use?
The GE uses a 365mm x 435mm rack, the standard size for most Australian bar glass racks.
What happens in a cycle?
The complete cycle takes one minute. The first 30 seconds sprays clean hot water from your supply over the glasses. The next 15 seconds rinses through the boiler with 82°C water. The final 15 seconds either times out if the cold rinse option is off, or sprays cold water from the top to cool the glasses if it's switched on.
Does it dispense chemicals?
Yes, during the first 30 seconds, the wash, it draws detergent into the water to help clean the glasses.
Is the Washtech GE WaterMark certified?
Yes. WaterMark certified and compliant with health regulations in all Australian states.
Does the Washtech GE need commissioning?
No. It is quick-connect with everything supplied and ready to use out of the box.
Can the GE be used as a dishwasher?
No, not really, the GE has very little wash power. If cups and dishes are cleaned though, it can be used to sanitise them, and the hot rinse will help dry them without needing a cloth.
How does it drain?
The GE has a simple drain outlet using gravity, exactly like a sink at home.
