Waldorf CH8450G-CB 450mm Gas Chargrill

The Waldorf CH8450G-CB is a 450mm commercial gas char grill on a fully enclosed cabinet base, with a single high-output burner across a heavy-duty grate.

A single high-output 48MJ burner heats a 442mm x 500mm heavy-duty grate, with individual Hi-Lo gas control and full flame failure protection. Top grates are reversible for level or inclined use, and the inclined position channels grease forward into the front collection channel to reduce flare-ups.

Like all Moffat gas equipment except fryers, a gas regulator is supplied with the CH8450G-CB, but it is not pre-fitted - your licensed gas fitter fits it as part of installation. Grates, radiants and burners all lift out for cleaning, and all burner box interior parts lift out for full cleaning access.

The CH8450G-CB sits on a fully enclosed double skin stainless steel cabinet base with adjustable feet, and takes a 1/1 GN four position racking kit for storage underneath. Optional drop-in griddle plates (300mm or 450mm), joining caps and a castor kit are available as extras. Waldorf 800 Series is made by Moffat in New Zealand, and runs on natural gas or LPG, specified when ordering.

Best for: kitchens that want enclosed under-bench storage built into a compact 450mm chargrill footprint, rather than an open leg stand.

Does the CH8450G-CB come with a gas regulator?

Yes. A regulator is supplied with the CH8450G-CB, but it is not pre-fitted - your licensed gas fitter fits it as part of installation, same as any other Moffat gas equipment.

Can I fit shelving inside the CH8450G-CB cabinet?

Yes. It takes a 1/1 GN four position racking kit for storing trays or containers inside the cabinet.

What gas type does the CH8450G-CB run on?

Natural gas or LPG, specified when you order. Connection is a ¾″ BSP male gas inlet, so a licensed gas fitter makes the connection.
