The Merrychef e5 HP is the largest cavity model in the Merrychef e series — a 430mm x 330mm cavity with 6.2 kW total power, built for the highest volume commercial operations. Where the e4 HP offers a wider cavity, the e5 HP offers the greatest overall cavity area in the e series, accommodating larger trays and a wider range of food formats. No hood required, Ethernet connected for cloud menu management.
Best for: High-volume restaurants, stadia, hospitals, hotels and large catering operations that need the largest possible cavity in the Merrychef e series for maximum throughput.
How the Merrychef e5 HP cooks
The e5 HP delivers 6.2 kW total power through top impingement airflow, 1.4 kW microwave energy and 3.2 kW convection — the same total output as the e4 HP but with a larger cavity optimised for high volume service. The 430mm x 330mm cavity accommodates larger trays, platters and food formats that won't fit in smaller speed oven cavities. Menu programmes are loaded via USB with Ethernet connectivity for cloud-based management. The built-in catalytic converter means no exhaust hood is required.
