Product Overview
The Bonn SpeediChef SCIQ3 is a high-speed accelerated cooking oven that combines forced convection, high-speed tuned impingement air and a top-launched microwave to cook food up to 10 times faster than a conventional oven. Running on a standard 15 amp single phase outlet with a built-in catalytic converter for ventless operation, the SpeediChef is a practical countertop solution for cafes and bars that need fast, consistent results without the complexity or cost of the premium speed oven brands.
Best for: Cafes and small bars that need a capable, cost-effective speed oven on standard 15 amp power with a large recipe library and straightforward touchscreen operation.
How the Bonn SpeediChef cooks
The SpeediChef uses three heat modes, 100% microwave at 1,100W for rapid internal heating, impingement at 1,600W for browning and crisping, and a combined combi mode running both simultaneously for the fastest results. Variable-speed vertically recirculated air convection and impingement operates with low noise, averaging 48dB in standby. A stirrer ensures even distribution of air and microwave energy throughout the cavity. Infra-red elements tilt up for easy cleaning and the removable metal rack and bottom jetplate simplify daily maintenance. The built-in catalytic converter breaks down grease-laden vapours for fully ventless operation.
The fully programmable touchscreen stores up to 432 recipes with multi-stage programming of up to 6 stages per recipe. Recipes and images can be edited on both the oven and via PC, with a USB port for loading. Three Set TEMP modes cover different temperature requirements from 0°C to 280°C.
