The Friginox MX29-STS7-C is a roll-in blast chiller that takes 2 x 1/1 GN trolleys. It chills 160kg per cycle, runs off a 7 inch touch screen with a 3 point core probe, 40 programs and a USB HACCP recorder, and needs a 20A 400V three phase supply. It is the remote condensing unit version, so the condensing unit is supplied and installed separately. Made by Friginox in France, distributed and serviced in Australia by Moffat.
Best for: Production kitchens, caterers and cook chill operations moving 2 trolleys of product at a time, with three phase power on site.
MX29-STS7-C overview
This roll-in takes 2 x 1/1 GN trolleys with 900mm x 1020mm of floor space inside. Passthrough access is an option, so you can load from the kitchen side and unload on the other. The MX29-STS7-CF is the chill and freeze version of the same unit.
How the MX29-STS7-C chills
Pick from soft chill, hard chill and self adaptive intelligent chilling, and run each cycle on the 3 point core probe or on the timer. A pre-chill key gets the cabinet cold before you load, and at the end of every cycle it drops into hold mode on its own. Thawing and defrosting run with the door closed. Manual defrost has automatic time control.
Installation
This is the remote condensing unit version. The condensing unit is not included, so your refrigeration contractor supplies and installs it and runs the lines. It comes with a 20mm insulated stainless steel floor and ramp, expansion and solenoid valves, drip tray and piping. Assembly is required on site. Refrigerant is R452A, and other gas types are available on request.

The roll-ins all run off the same 7 inch touch screen with a 3 point core probe. The difference is trolley count, inside room, capacity and power.

Simple to use
The 7 inch touch screen has large keys that make it easy to use. Save up to 40 programs, and the favourites key gives shortcuts to the last 9 used. Extra functions cover ice cream hardening, ventilated drying, multiple timers with customisable phases and raw fish sanitation. It also has a USB HACCP recorder.
Options
Friginox offers extra core probes, up to 3 in total, passthrough access and an auxiliary stop control panel for the passthrough version. These are factory options, so just let us know which you want when you order.

Who makes the Friginox MX29-STS7-C?
Friginox makes it in France. Moffat distributes it in Australia and looks after warranty and service.
What is the difference between the MX29-STS7-C and the MX29-STS7-CF?
The MX29-STS7-CF chills and freezes, up to 80kg frozen per cycle. The MX29-STS7-C is chill only.
Does it come with a trolley?
No. The trolley is not included. It takes 2 x 1/1 GN trolleys, with 900mm x 1020mm inside and 1885mm of height.
Does it include the condensing unit?
No. This is the remote condensing unit version. The condensing unit is supplied and installed by your refrigeration contractor.
Can I get passthrough access?
Yes, passthrough access is a factory option. Inside depth goes from 1020mm to 1080mm on the passthrough version. Various door opening layouts are available, just let us know which when you order.
What power does it need?
A three phase 400V supply rated at 20A. It draws 4.4kW. Get your electrician to check your board has three phase before you order.
How much can the MX29-STS7-C chill?
Up to 160kg chilled per cycle. Real loads vary with the food, how thick it is and the container it sits in.
