The Friginox EF-D-MX4TS7-CF is a blast chiller and freezer refrigeration system for a cool room built on site. It is rated to chill 320kg or freeze 160kg per cycle, matching the Friginox MX4 roll-in models, and runs off a 7 inch touch screen with a multi point core probe and 40 programs. It needs a 20A 400V three phase supply. Made by Friginox in France, distributed and serviced in Australia by Moffat.

Best for: Large production kitchens and cook chill operations building their own blast room to suit the space.

The system comes with the control panel, electrical box, evaporator, air deflector, expansion and solenoid valves, drip tray and piping. The room panels are supplied by your contractor, and Friginox recommends an inside room size of 900mm wide, 1440mm deep and 1885mm high. The EF-D-MX4TS7-C is the chill only version.

How the EF-D-MX4TS7-CF chills

Pick from soft chill, hard chill, soft freeze, hard freeze and self adaptive intelligent chilling, and run each cycle on the multi point core probe or on the timer. A pre-chill key gets the room cold before you load, and at the end of every cycle it drops into hold mode on its own. Thawing and defrosting run with the door closed. Manual defrost has automatic time control.

Installation

The remote condensing unit is not included, and the room panels are supplied by your contractor. The evaporator fixes to a vertical wall of injected polyurethane isothermal panels. If you are using another panel type, let us know so the right fittings come with it. Assembly is required on site. Refrigerant is R452A, and other gas types are available on request.

Which Friginox model do I need?

All four systems run the same touch screen and multi point probe. The difference is capacity, room size and power.

Simple to use

The 7 inch touch screen has large keys that make it easy to use. Save up to 40 programs, and the favourites key gives shortcuts to the last 9 used. Extra functions cover ice cream hardening, ventilated drying, multiple timers with customisable phases and raw fish sanitation.

Options

Friginox offers a USB connection, extra core probes, up to 3 in total, a door opening detection sensor and an auxiliary stop control for a double access passthrough room. These are factory options, so just let us know which you want when you order.
