The Scotsman ACM 107 AS is a self contained gourmet ice machine that makes up to 51kg of ice a day and stores 23kg in its built in bin, so the machine and the bin are one unit ready to plug in and run. It produces Scotsman's medium gourmet cube, a clear 20g supercube around 30mm across, the slow melting shape used for spirits and premium service.

Does the ACM 107 AS need a plumber?

No. It is designed for plug and play, with both the water hose and the drain hose supplied with the unit. It plugs into a standard 10A power point, so no electrician is needed either.

Is the storage bin included?

How much clearance does it need?

Allow 150mm at the rear and 150mm on each side for airflow, since it is air cooled and draws air through a front access filter. The operating environment should sit between 10°C and 43°C. Optional adjustable feet are available to lift the machine up to 850mm high if you need to match a bench line.

How much ice will it actually make?

Output drops as the room and water get warmer. In a cool space with 10°C water it makes up to 53kg a day, around 51kg in typical conditions, and about 43kg in a warm room at 32°C air with 21°C water. Size your machine on the hot figure if the space runs warm.
