The Washtech AL8 is a heavy duty pass-through warewasher built for commercial kitchens that need one machine to handle both high-volume dishwashing and potwashing. With a wash chamber 700mm wide and 650mm high, the AL8 accommodates gastronorm pans, large pots, bins, crates and standard 500mm dish racks — making it one of the most versatile warewashers in the Washtech range.
Best for: Hotels, hospitals, aged care facilities, schools, canteens and high-volume commercial kitchens that need a single machine capable of washing large pots and pans as well as standard crockery and racks.
How the Washtech AL8 cleans
The AL8 uses a recirculating wash system with a 1.5 kW wash pump recirculating water at 800 litres per minute through upper and lower stainless steel wash arms. The triple cycle selection of 2, 4 and 6 minutes allows operators to match the cycle to the load — shorter cycles for standard racks, longer cycles for heavily soiled pots and equipment. The machine starts automatically when the door closes and the rinse booster elements ensure fast recovery between cycles. An L-shaped tank with curved corners and double filtration keeps the wash water clean throughout service.

AL8C — condenser version
The AL8C is the condenser version of the AL8. It features a built-in heat condenser that captures steam from the wash cycle, eliminating the need for a ventilation hood.
