The Merrychef e1s is the entry level model in the Merrychef e series — a compact, hoodless speed oven that plugs into a standard single phase 15 amp power point and fits on a 500mm bench depth. Combining microwave, convection and top impingement technology, it cooks food up to 12 times faster than a conventional oven with consistent browning and crisping results. No exhaust hood required, no water connection, no waste — just plug in and cook.
Best for: Cafes, bars, small restaurants and single-site operations that need fast, consistent food output from a compact countertop machine on standard power.
How the Merrychef e1s cooks
The e1s uses three heat technologies simultaneously — tuned top impingement airflow, microwave energy and convection heat. The impingement directs hot air jets at high velocity onto the food surface for browning and crisping. The microwave penetrates the food for rapid internal heating. Convection heat surrounds the food for even cooking throughout. The result is food that looks and tastes oven-cooked in a fraction of the time. A built-in catalytic converter eliminates the need for a ventilation hood, making the e1s suitable for any countertop location.
Menu programmes are stored on the easyTouch control panel and loaded via USB. Up to 1,024 multi-stage recipe programmes can be stored. Automatic on and off timers and self-diagnostic capability make the machine easy to manage through a service period.
