The Washtech PW2 is a wide body front-loading warewasher built for high-volume commercial kitchens that need to wash large pots, bins, baking trays, racks, mats and mixing bowls up to 100 litres. With a 750mm high wash chamber, twin 2 horsepower wash pumps and just 4 litres of water per cycle, the PW2 delivers powerful sanitising performance with low running costs. Front-loading means a single door — ideal for kitchens where a pass-through installation is not possible.

How the Washtech PW2 cleans
The PW2 uses twin 2 horsepower wash pumps recirculating water at a combined 1,600 litres per minute through upper and lower stainless steel wash arms for powerful, even coverage. Triple cycle selection of 2, 4 and 6 minutes allows operators to match the cycle to the load. The rinse booster elements ensure fast recovery between cycles and every load is sanitised at high temperature. A FastClean rounded wash tank with double filtration and scrap and pump inlet filters keeps wash water clean throughout service. Stainless steel grids are fitted for ease of loading and unloading, and optional custom wheeled racks can be built to suit specific items. The counterbalanced insulated two-piece door with safety stop switch allows fingertip lifting and the ergonomic loading height minimises back injury risk.

PW2C — condenser version
The PW2C is the condenser version of the PW2 at $25,950 plus GST. It features a built-in heat condenser that captures steam from the wash cycle, eliminating the need for a ventilation hood. PW2 vs PW3 — what is the difference?
Both machines use the same wash system and deliver the same washing power. The key difference is the loading configuration. The PW2 is front-loading — items are loaded and unloaded from the same side through a single door, making it suitable for kitchens where space only allows access from one side. The PW3 is pass-through — items are loaded from one side and unloaded from the other, allowing a continuous workflow for higher volume operations. The PW3 also takes two 500mm racks side by side simultaneously, while the PW2 loads items individually through the front.
