How the Washtech XG cleans
The XG is a recirculating machine, meaning wash water is filtered and recirculated during the cycle rather than drained after every wash. At just 1.5 litres of hot water per cycle it is one of the most water-efficient glasswashers available in Australia, earning WaterMark certification. The final rinse sanitises at 82°C and the stainless steel wash and drain filter keeps the wash water clean throughout service. Hands-free draining with no drain plug means end-of-service cleanup is straightforward.

Simple to use
Like the XV and XU undercounter dishwashers, the XG uses a reliable simple robust control system. No complex operation just four simple push button switches. First power on and off, second a drain switch, and then two push button switches to start the cycle, one selects a one minute cycle the other a two minute cycle. What is the difference between the Washtech XG and the Washtech GM? The XG is a compact entry-level recirculating glasswasher using push-button PCB controls, 1.5 litres per cycle and 540 glasses per hour. The GM is a professional-grade machine using a touchscreen control for granular display and settings.
Are the Washtech XG and the Washtech GE similiar? No, the XG is recirculating, using a pump to wash from the wash tank, then finishes the cycle with a rinse, using just 1.5 litres per cycle. The GE is non-recirculating type, using fresh hot direct from your hot supply for 30 seconds to act as a wash, then a rinse going through the rinse tank to achieve sanatisation for 15 seconds, and if selected a 15 second cooling cold rinse. The GE is simpler with fewer components to maintain, no wash pump and a gravity drain. The XG is more water-efficient for high-volume use.
What rack size does the Washtech XG use? The XG uses a 365 mm x 435 mm rack, the standard size for most Australian bar glass racks.
