Product Overview
The Washtech GE is a compact, affordable commercial glasswasher built for small cafes, bars and restaurants that need reliable, fast glass cleaning without the cost or complexity of a recirculating machine. Using water pressure rather than a wash pump, the GE has fewer moving parts, lower maintenance requirements and a simple all-electromechanical control system with no electronic components to fail.
Best for: Small cafes, wine bars, small restaurants and venues washing up to 1,000 glasses per hour that want a simple, low-maintenance glasswasher at an affordable price point.
How the Washtech GE cleans
Unlike recirculating glasswashers that reuse the same wash water, the GE is non-recirculating. Fresh water is used for every cycle, driven by mains water pressure with no wash pump required. There is no wash tank to clean out and gravity drain means no drain pump either. The result is a very simple machine — fast, reliable and easy to maintain. The 60 second cycle washes up to 1,000 glasses per hour, and an operator-selectable cold rinse switch on the outside lets staff adjust the final rinse as needed.
The GE uses an all-electromechanical control system with no electronic components, making it one of the simplest and most reliable glasswashers available.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Washtech GE and the Washtech GM? The GE is a non-recirculating machine that uses fresh water every cycle driven by mains pressure, with no wash pump and gravity drain. It is simpler, lighter and more affordable. The GM is a recirculating machine that drains and replaces wash water during the cycle, uses a wash pump for greater spray pressure and delivers higher wash quality for venues with higher standards or higher volumes. The GE suits small venues wanting reliability and simplicity. The GM suits venues wanting professional results.
Does the Washtech GE need a pump to operate? No. The GE uses mains water pressure to drive the wash cycle, so no wash pump is required. This is what keeps the machine simple and low maintenance.
What rack size does the Washtech GE use? The GE uses a 365 mm x 435 mm rack, which is the standard size for most Australian bar glass racks.
Does the Washtech GE need any commissioning? No. It is ready to use out of the box with no commissioning required.
